Your Photo as a Poster

On high-quality photo paper. The inks are lightfast and UV-resistant, so the colors stay vibrant for a long time. You'll find details about the finish in the features above.

Compare the sizes on offer with your frame. Don't want to deal with a frame? Then order your photo directly in a picture frame – ready to hang.

Well protected in sturdy packaging.

Upload the photo in its original size. The designer will warn you if the resolution is too low for the chosen format – then simply choose a smaller size.

You can do it without drilling at all using poster hangers, poster clips or removable adhesive strips – ideal for rented apartments. Hang the poster so that the center of the picture is roughly at eye level, i.e. about 1.50 m above the floor.

Lay the poster face down on a clean, smooth surface – ideally with a sheet of paper in between – and weigh down the corners with books. After a few hours or overnight, it will lie flat. Please don't iron or fold it.

Carefully remove dust with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth or a feather duster. Avoid water, cleaning agents and abrasive sponges, as they can damage the paper and the print. If you want to give the poster extra protection, put it in a frame with glass.

Paper reacts to steam and splashing water: it can warp or get stains. Robust materials such as aluminium Dibond or acrylic glass are better suited to bathrooms and kitchens. A poster is best hung in living spaces with normal humidity.

The inks are lightfast so your colors stay bright for a long time. As with any picture on paper, though: direct sunlight for hours on end takes its toll on the print over time. It's best to hang your poster on a wall that isn't constantly in bright sunshine.

Displays emit their own light and are often set very bright, whereas a print relies on the light in the room. That's why especially dark photos look a little darker on paper than on screen. So choose well-exposed motifs for your poster and hang it in a bright spot.
