The company sixdots GmbH, the business behind rapid.art, was founded by Steffen Satrapa and is a software development company with a special focus on photos and personalized print products.

Rapid-Collage
With Rapid-Collage, you can easily create photo collages directly in the browser. A wide range of lovingly designed templates – from numbers and letters to hearts and grid patterns – are available and can be customized individually.
Rapid-Mosaic
Rapid-Mosaic enables you to create photo mosaic images where many small photos merge into a large overall image. The software automatically sets all parameters and offers various mosaic options that can be ordered directly in the webshop.
Rapid-Map
With Rapid-Map, you can design personalized city maps and order them as print products. Users can enter an address, adjust the design and colors, and add individual texts to create unique and personal maps.
Our Story
For over 20 years, we have been part of the evolution of the internet, from the early days of digital photography to the latest smartphone trends. Our journey began with the release of Foto-Mosaik-Edda, a software that allowed tech-savvy users to create impressive photo mosaic images for free for the first time.
With the introduction of Rapid-Mosaic in 2014, it became even easier: the software automatically set all the parameters, allowing users to choose from several variations at the end of the creation process and order the desired photo mosaic directly in the webshop. Since then, we have closely worked with a local, family-run printing company with a premium standard for the production of print products.
In 2018, we developed an online version of Rapid-Mosaic. This allowed our users to create photo mosaic images directly over the internet and operate it from a smartphone. A trend moving away from standalone installation software towards web-based applications and mobile use.
In 2020, we expanded our offerings with Rapid-Collage. This web application allows users to easily design photo collages in the browser. Numerous lovingly crafted templates – from numbers and letters to hearts and grid patterns – can be customized individually.
With Rapid-Map, introduced in 2023, we offer a platform where customers can design personalized city maps and order them as print products. Users can enter an address, adjust the design and colors, and add custom texts.
Finally, in 2024, we united all our products under the brand rapid.art, providing our customers with a unified and even better experience.
